The Saks app user journeys for new customers were enhanced to improve the experience. The goal was to highlight account benefits, simplify the account creation form, and introduce informative toasts during the registration process. The existing Saks app account creation process was overly complex and lengthy, leading to high abandonment rates and negatively affecting the overall conversion funnel. Users desired a more seamless and convenient registration experience, allowing them to quickly create an account without unnecessary obstacles. To address these issues, the account creation form was refined by moving the 'Email' field to the top, removing unnecessary text fields, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience after account creation. These changes significantly reduced customer friction, resulting in smoother navigation, increased conversion rates, and an improved customer journey. Satisfaction levels surged, leading to greater engagement with the app and fostering lasting customer loyalty.
